DRIVE TEAM

Douglas Matheny

Team Captain

Douglas Matheny (Sophomore) has 3 years of Vex V5RC Experience and was previously with Breaking Bot. He serves as a main figure in the CHS Robotics program. He is a very valuable person within our robotics program and is extremely dedicated to it.

Beau Hale

Team Member

Beau Hale (Sophomore) has 1 years of Vex V5 Experience and was involved with the previous season, Push Back. He is very interested in STEM and is in multiple extracurriculars like Math Field Day and SCORES, placing high in multiple areas involving STEM.

Tolby Hastings

Team Member

Tolby Hastings (Sophomore) has 3 years of Vex V5RC Experience and is very interested in building a competitive robot, wishing to place as high as possible in west virginia. He is a very helpful figure for our program and is our scout and strategist for the new game, Override.

VEX V5 Robotics Competition is a global high school robotics program where student teams design, build, and program their own robots each season to compete in a new game.

One active team, Mutex (71181M), plus two retired teams: Breaking Bot and Better Call Bot. All three shared one build room and parts budget.
